As a freshman on the track team at Jenison it was an event to o watch him run, 100 and 220 yard sprints. Set school records as a sophomore with 10 second 100 and 22.8 seconds in the 220. With his afro and the way he ran it was an event. And he beat Steve Capon from Grandville in the 100. It is amazing what sticks in your memories, condolences.
