I remember visiting his family while we went on a TDY to Washington. We served together at Moody AFB. I will always remember his wit.

Richard was a good man who was always ready with a friendly handshake. It was a privilege to know him and eat lunch with him, even for the short time I knew him. I am better for having known him. We will all meet again in heaven.
