Oh Dr. Harris, how I miss you even more now. You were the very best doctor I've ever had. I'm trying to find a new doctor and there are none that compare to you. Your knowledge and caring manner was so rare. And your friendship was so valued and appreciated. You were the best and I will never forget you.

You helped me grow from teen to adulthood; through many boyfriends and crazy illnesses. You would actually call your patients! Your voice on the phone, with it's slightly southern accent, would say " I'm sorry you're so blue, darlin" when I didn't feel good. I still remember your giggle and all your jokes. The bar has been set high for other practitioners in my life, as no other can compare.

Jacob, one way you can honor your Father's creativity is to publish the manuscript of his poems and invite prospective readers [writing colleagues, former patients, friends to contribute to printing costs. Let me know your thoughts on this suggestion.

I´ve been debating whether to leave a post here for the tenth anniversary of his passing or not because I didn´t want to be too morose, but I miss my dad, and I feel like I need some way to let him know that he is a zeyde and he has a beautiful granddaughter named Juliette who will be two this year.
