I worked for Dick at AAFES in Honolulu for years and both respected his intelligence and people skills. He was one of my all time favorite superiors in my work life.

Richard was my good friend for many years, someone who always brought a smile and good cheer to the poker table, especially when he took my money! I have not seen him for several years because I moved from Dallas in 2006 but have thought of him many times. He was a great guy. My condolences to his family.
