Not sure what to say?

When my parents were out of town my car conked out on me and Uncle Dick came over to see if there was anything he could do. But sadly there wasn't. But grateful all the same that he was there for me Love you forever and will be reunited again someday

It just occurred to me just now something that Uncle Dick did for many years that always struck me funny. For many years when he used to tap maple trees to make maple syrup, he would hang a tap on the telephone pole on Main Street. It was the funniest thing and was always a conversation piece. He sure could make people laugh. I will certainly miss you Uncle Dick.

My condolences to the Hatch family. Dick always had a friendly wave. Thanks for sharing RJ and Loel growing up. Along with Will, we enjoyed sledding in the backyard, playing football, hockey, water polo, extreme croquet, and playing hearts. I will always remember the days Hampden stood still when a house Dick saved was moved down Main Street. Great memories! Sorry for your loss.

Judy.... So sorry to hear about Dick's passing. I hope all the good memories you have of him will comfort you and your family and help you get through this time.

Dear Hatch Family. I am sorry to hear of Dick's passing. Unfortunately, I only heard after the services were over. It was a pleasure doing business with him for so many years.

Dear Mrs. Hatch and Family: I learned late last evening of the passing of Mr. Hatch. He was a wonderful man with a great sense of humor, common sense and a work ethic rarely seen today. This is such a loss not only for your dedicated family but to the Town as
well. God Bless You.

Judy we just found out today 2/14 of dicks passing. We are in Florida. We both have so many memories of dick. Especially George from many years ago. You did so much for Dick and took wonderful care of him. Please know that we extend our deepest sympathy and thoughts to you. George and Dee Vermette

My condolences to the Hatch Family. I knew Richard well, from being on the fir department in East Longmeadow and the county fire mutual aid meetings. I learned quite a bit from Richard, Larry & Peter. I will miss him as will you. Though he will not be by your side, he will always be in your memories. Celebrate his life and the good times that you had with him.

Sorry to hear of your loss. Lots of memories in Hampden.
