Richard Hatcher was one of the finest, kindest gentleman I have known. He taught my Western Civilization class my senior year at North Augusta Senior High in 1973-74. Among his many qualities was his superb talent as an educator; he inspired all of his students, and brought that history alive during every class. I think of Mr. Hatcher often. He was by far my favorite teacher and the one who had the biggest impact on my life. Prayers and good thoughts to his family. I am sure he will be sorely missed.

I am so sorry to hear of Dickie's passing. I have such fond memories of him when he would come to Maryland to visit us. He was a WONDERFUL cousin. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
