Not sure what to say?

Mr. Havel,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the USN during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

uncle dick i love you very much you have taught me so much! you a a great inspiration and i look up to you! i will always remember our time in france and how meaningful it was to have you there.

I always enjoyed spending time with Dick and Gloria. Whether it was going into the city to see a play or our reunion at Disney World, we always had a great time. He did a lot of interesting things in his life but the thing I admired most was how much he adored Gloria. The phrase "class act" is definately how I would describe Dick. He will be missed by all that knew him.

I will miss my friend and brother-in-law. We spent many hours reliving our Navy stories, as only two old Navy men do. It was an honor to know you.

Dick was the best brother-in-law anyone could have ever had and he will be missed as a wonderful friend. The wonderful family times we had over the years will remain as the best times of my life. Craig, Peter, Lynn and Paul you were so lucky to have had this man for a father. Anyone who came in contact with Dick became a better person for it.

Dick will truly be missed by us. I will especially miss the discusssions with him that always filled family get togethers. He was especially embracing of Diana when she first joined the family and for that he will always have a special place with her.
