Not sure what to say?

Dick was one of the kindest and most welcoming human beings I have ever met. Everyone who dined at the Gaslight Grill was his friend, whether they just met him or had known him for years. My heart broke when I heard of his passing. He was an irreplaceable fixture of the Leawood community, and he leaves an emptiness in the world of Jazz that cannot be filled. I pray for peace and comfort for his family.

We will miss you sir. Thanks for the music.

God bless your family and rest in peace.

We love going to the Gas Light grill and seeing Mr. Hawk. We will miss this dear gentleman and the interest he always showed in the customers.

Besides our anniversary, we often went there for family birthdays and other great special occasions. Pass...

Mr Hawk was a friend and mentor to my wife Britt and I. He was a talented entrepreneur who taught us quite a bit. We will dearly miss his warm and pleasant demeanor and his business acumen. Our prayers and thoughts are with all the family and friends.
