Not sure what to say?

I was just informed of Dick's death and it was a very sad message. I have known Dick since we both lived on the Ohio Blvd in Sewickley. We played as kids and went to grade school and high school together. I remember him as being very smart and kind. I am grateful that we had an opportunity to talk at our 45th class reunion.

Dick's Mom was a close friend of my mother's and they had good times together.

My dearest condolences to his wife, brother and family.

A good student, a close friend for many years, and a champion of the poor and afflicted. David G. Smith, professor (emer.)of Pol. Sci., Swarthmore College

Dick was an amazing, smart and kind man. I enjoyed the lunches at the Diner that I shared with him. He was always true to himself and his friends.

Dick was the most wonderful, caring person that we've had the pleasure of being friends with. He always put everyone before himself. He was generous, kind, and very loving. Dick, please rest in peace. You earned it.

Dick was one of my closest cousins. He and I shared many laughs and fond memories.
He was always there for my family and I in our time of need.
He will be sorely missed and will always be in our hearts.

Dick was the kindest and most humble man I have ever known. He was a great and steady friend.

I will miss you.
