I have to admit that as a young girl I had a huge crush on Richard. He was the first person I knew from a naval background and I loved him in his uniform. I loved his collection of shells and hearing that trumpet. I grew up in the little green house right next door to Richard’s parents so spent a lot of time playing in their yard. He was always patient and kind to a pesty little kid from next door who was always under foot. I am so sorry for your loss.

So sorry for your loss, sending prayers of healing and comfort to all of Richard’s family. Always a gentleman, and always had good conversations about music and other topics. He was a good neighbor and his passing is a huge loss to the community. May he rest in eternal peace.
