I was a friend of Dick and was his co-pilot in Vietnam. I only learned of his passing today December 4, 2020. He was my roommate in Vinh Long, Vietnam. One humorous incident, was when, he being in the top bunk, got his head to high and got the fan blade in his head. He did bleed a lot as I carried him to the dispensary. We did laugh a lot about the incident...Dick was a good man and I will not forget our friendship!

Rich was a very special friend. He was concerned about the employees at Kulhman Electric. I was honored to have known him. R.I.P. my friend
