I never worked directly with Rich but knew him well, as we frequently crossed paths on the street and at Park Station when he dropped by while out on patrol. He was a real gentleman and a very hard-working cop. I'm sorry to hear of his passing. My condolences to his wife, children, and grandchildren and may he Rest in Peace.

I'm very sorry to hear of your loss. Rich was a good cop, and a pretty good tennis player. I remember playing with him at Lake Tahoe several years ago. I also worked with Rich back in the day in the old Juvenile Bureau. Please accept my condolences. morgan

Dear Terry and kids, We are so sorry for your loss. Dave would come home from the retirement lunches and tell me about great visits he had with Rich. When I worked with Rich in Juvenile he would tell me such sweet stories about his family; I always felt like you had the perfect, loving family. He was so devoted to all of you.
