Richard G. Higgins

Although he is physically no longer present with us, his spirit - his true essence - remains tangible to all, for which blessing I am grateful. I send my profound condolences to his loving family.

My deepest condolences go to Jeannie and Colleen and all the family. I was very fond of Rich and will always stand in awe of his love for history, art, and opera; and his curiosity about everything. His good humor and warmth will be missed.

Our heart goes out to Jean and the Higgins family at this time of great loss. Rich Higgins graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Maine in 1979 and retired from Boeing after a successful career that spanned nearly three decades and included three vice-presidential assignments. It was a privilege and pleasure to have gotten to know Rich over these past years - he was one of those people who you wish you could have known better and spent more time with; Jean, my thoughts and prayers are with you and yours.
