Not sure what to say?

Fair winds Richard, you were a mentor and a leader and your memory will live on.

Richard was an outstanding shipmate and a wonderful human being, low key but highly effective as a leader. He made people want to pass the time with him. He exerted a positive aura which attracted others to serve and was always a supportive mentor. Here he is receiving one of many USCG Auxiliary commendations from our Flotilla Commander. You will be missed. Christine please receive all our love, Hortensia and Bob

Richard, being naturally curious, started a conversation with Ralph that led to Richard becoming a passionate, devoted and enthusiastic volunteer/supporter of the Burn Center for many years! The Burn Center ran a yearly Burn camp for children surviving burn...
