Dear Teresa,

I was shocked and saddened to learn of Richard's death, but we all know he is with the Lord. He and Kal are probably catching up on things right now (can't you just picture them?)

You have some exquisite memories of your times with Richard: his love of the Lord, your camping trips, the dogs, and the special memory you spoke of to me yesterday. When things get really tough, and they will, just grab on to those memories and hold on with all your might, and you WILL...

On behalf of the Tri-County Chapter of Blue Star Mother's of Charleston, SC, we wish to express our sincere condolences in the loss of your loved one. We wish to give our thanks to Mr. Hilton for serving our country in the United States Army to keep our country free. May God continue to give you peace and comfort during this time. Teresa, I am so sorry to hear about Richard. Roger told me this morning. I will keep you and Michelle in my prayers. Please call if you need anything.
Love ya Leigh

Our deepest sympathies go out to Teresa and Michelle. I know I had a wonderful time with Richard and Teresa at Cades Cove and other adventures several years ago. He was a wonderful, kind, intelligent, and Godly man. He will be dearly missed.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

Don and I will surely miss Richard. You both worked so hard on Sunday School, and great will be his--and your reward! We shall both miss a dear friend, full of fun and intellectual conversation, and truly followed the Lord. We're looking more and more forward to heaven! Love and blessings to you and the family...BJ and Don

Dear Teresa,

You and your family have my deeepest sympathy. I attended North Charleston High School with Richard and am so sorry to learn that he passed away.

May your faith be strong during this difficult time and may you feel peace and comfort. God bless you with warm memories of your loved one.

Sincerely,

Dear Teresa and family,
I was shocked and saddened to hear about Richard's passing. I never met Richard but you spoke of him so fondly and with such love. You have been an inspiration to me because of your love for your family, the Lord and your never ending strength. You are in my thoughts and prayers. God bless you and give you comfort.
