Not sure what to say?

Mr Hintz was my choir teacher for 3 yrs at Kalamazoo Central and he was always a kind, encouraging educator. I graduated in 1970 and I enjoyed my choir days.

Mr. Hints was one of the most influential teachers in my life. I moved to Otsego just before Christmas of my freshman year (1989). Mr. Hintz encouraged and supported my music throughout high school until I graduated in 1993. I learned by watching how he shepherded students through learning new choral pieces and putting together a musical how a true leader behaves. I appreciated every compliment and bit of guidance he gave me. Looking back, I see that he filled in the gaps my father had left...

Some of the best times of my high school years was spent in the music room on the 4th floor of KCHS. Singing in the choir reinforced my love for choral music that has lasted a lifetime. Thank you, Mr. Hintz for sharing your musical gift with all your students. My sincere condolences to Sandra and and his children.

Richard was such a kind and talented man who loved the Lord. May the family remember the wonderful contributions to the music world during their times of grief. We pray for your peace and comfort knowing he is directing a choir in heaven.

So sorry to hear of Dick's' passing. My prayers to your family.

I had Mr. Hintz as my choir teacher throughout my high school years at Kalamazoo Central. He was absolutely wonderful! Mr. Hintz loved music and inspired his students to let their voices soar. He gave me confidence as a singer which allowed me to perform in public without fear. I have never forgotten him. Sing with the choirs of angels, Mr. Hintz.

Sandy, I was never privileged to meet your talented husband but am so appreciative of his career dedicated to the arts and his family. Please accept my sincere sympathy for you and your family. I pray for your peace and comfort. Louise (Shepard) Bower
