Not sure what to say?

My twin sister, Denniese, informed me last night by phone of Dick's passing. He was a classmate of ours all the way from kindergarten through high school, and always seemed to be an easy going, friendly sort of fellow. I remember him being in mechanical drawing classes with me. I'm not surprised at all after reading of his notable accomplishments in life. My condolences to the family.

I haven't seen Dick since high school but I remember him fondly as my first love. We met in junior high in band class and competed furiously on the trumpet - I just to be in the chair next to him. He will remain fondly in my memory and I hope that his family can find peace and acceptance of the early passing of a great guy who will be missed by many.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

I too hadn't seen Dick since Graduation. I remember him as such a happy and friendly guy. I will pray for you and your family during this sad time. So very sorry for your loss.

I was very sorry to hear of Dick's passing. Though I hadn't seen Dick since high school he and his brothers have come to mind through the years. He had a great smile and sense of humor and was a genuine nine man. Know that my thoughts and prayers are with you as you go through this difficult time.

I am so sorry for this man that I attended high school with. A nice guy. Prayers to your family. God bless!

Dick and his family were a positive and important part of our 23rd Street neighborhood during my childhood and teenage years. Dick's good nature, and his trustworthy personality, contributed to him being a cherished friend and classmate to me. My memories of Dick as a playmate, teammate, and occasional co-conspirator (when we decided to be rascals) shall forever remain with me. (I would be remiss not to mention Dick's brothers, Bill and Bobby, as being important buddies during those days long...
