Not sure what to say?

Dr. Hogan was a great man of the Lord I was ten years old when I was ready to accept.Christ as my savior. Dr. hogan lovingly questioned to determine if I was truly ready. And as he was satisfied that I was I walked the Isle in the old First Christian church on Scott and Minster in Council Bluffs on March 3rd 1973. On March tenth Dr. Hogan Baptized me. Dr. Hogan was a kind man, ny Dad and I would meet him for breakfast at Ewalds Cafe in Council Bluffs. After Dorthy passed Dr. Hogan left First...

Reverend Hogan officiated my marriage in CB. We attended church there and I was baptized at the church. The Reverend was an amazing preacher and educator. He would read scriptures and explain what the Greek terms from early bibles translated to in today´s English. He was extremely knowledgeable and shared it with us. It was a sad day when he had to leave his beloved church and congregation in CB, it was a great lost to so many of us. I am so sad to learn of his passing.

I remember Dick very well - he was the first Governor I knew when I joined Kiwanis. We had interesting visits, lots of sightseeing together at conventions and I admired him greatly. He was a true giver and friend. He will be missed by a lot of people.

I worked with Richard for six years 1972 to 1978. We disagreed on a number of things, but I loved the congregation at CB. CB gave me an important step up in ministry although. It was with the Disciples of Christ denomination. I grieve also the death if his lovely wife Dorthy, son Danny, and daughter Diane.
