Not sure what to say?

This is very coincidental, two days ago I was driving on Blue Parkway and passed the sculpture Dick made years ago that sits at the edge of Brush Creek, it is as powerful as ever, and it brought back many memories. Thanks Dick.

Jane---I just heard from David Gibson that you were moving to Laguna and altho we don't really know each other well, I always felt I did know you because Dick was so happy with you. Like you, I will always miss him. All my best wishes Barbara (Collett) DeZonia/Oakland, Ca.

Last week we were told of Dick's passing, it was a shock to us although we knew of his health complexities. We spend our winters in Florida and often do not become aware of happenings in the Kansas City area until quite long afterward. We are very saddened about this news, it's been awhile since we have spent time with Dick and Jane,
how regretful, but lots of never-dying memories.

I have been thinking of Dick so much these past few days. He opened my eyes to a wonderful world of people and opportunities in Kansas City. Thoughtful conversations, no matter the subject or the venue, were a hallmark of Dick's persona.
I am so sorry he is gone.

Dick was a good soul to the core, and he is still present in our lives. It is an honor to have known him.

I am saddened to hear of the passing of my friend Dick. All my best to the family.I will really miss his kind of sly, onery smile. Tom Wood

We are so saddened to hear that Dick is gone. We have wonderful memories of our friendship with Dick and Jane which began when we lived in Kansas City and was recently rekindled in such a great way when Dick and Jane traveled to Houston for Dick's visits to M.D. Anderson. We will miss him in our lives and are so grateful we knew him. Our hearts reach out to Jane and her family and to all of Dick's friends who we know in Kansas City.
