I met Dick at Heidelberg College (class of '62). We were both Physics majors and thus we shared many of the same classes. During graduate school at KSU, Dick helped me get a summer job at General Tire R&D. Several years later I joined the R&D center full time. When my family was in transition to the Akron-Kent area I had limited resources. Dick and Sharon invited my family of four to live in their finished basement. Friends like that are hard to find. I was so sorry to hear of Dick's passing away. I just found out today.
It's been a pleasure spending time with you at Mulberry for this short time. Be assured of my prayers for you and your family. May God's love, shown to you by family and friends, bring you comfort and peace in the days ahead.
