Not sure what to say?

I was working as a secretary at Air Products in 1977 when I decided to take an educational leave of absence to obtain a B.S. degree in business. Dick guided me all along the way, helping me pick an appropriate college (Penn State) along with a major (he said I couldn't major in Management - I had to pick a specific major and work my way up into management). I would work at Air Products whenever I was on break from school and would always stop in to give him a progress report. Upon...

I met Dick when we both worked at Lutron, and we have remained friends. Jane and Hope were the lights of his life. I'm so sorry to learn of his passing - he was a special man.

To Jane and Hope: We are sorry to have lost our friend Dick. We enjoyed many happy times together over the years. Bill will especially miss their lunches together.

I have so many memories from growing up with Mr. Hope. The beatnik picture, the broken oven door, Ocean City... I could go on and on. He could always make me laugh. I am glad I had the chance to know such an extraordinary person. He will be greatly missed.

An absolutely wonderful guy, who had many
friends & will be greatly missed!

I attended the Allentown Business School from '63 to '65. The education I received from the teachers and the guidance from Dick led to my 40+ year accounting career. We ran into each other occasionally in the supermarket or mall - he was always pleasant and happy to see one of his former students and took time to chat. I am very grateful to have known this gentleman.

sorry to hear of Dick's passing!
