Richard Howard HOPP Jr.

I did a search for his obituary, and it was #1. That is Dick. It was my pleasure to meet Dick in 1994 or so and remain friends, keeping in contact all these years sharing Christmas cards and a call from time to time.

June 28 was the last time he called me. I always had time for Dick. I had just returned from an international trip and was going to have a coffee with some other friends, but I took Dicks call as usual!

I will miss the calls from my friend. I will pray for...

I WORKED WITH DICK MANY ,MANY TIMES AS A YOUNG PIPEFITTER APPRENTICE OF LOCAL UNION 392 CINCINNATI, OHIO. HE WAS ONE OF THE GREATEST WELDERS I EVER KNEW & HE TOOK ME UNDER HIS WING & WAS MY MENTOR. I CAN STILL SEE HIM WITH HIS POLISHED BOOTS HIS BIG BRASS BELT BUCKLE & HIS PEARL BUTTONS & EVERYTHING CREASED & IRONED.I'M GLAD I KNEW HIM. I SEND MY DEEPEST SYMPATHY TO DICK'S FAMILY.
