"Beecher" was two years older but we were inseparable his last year in high school. We roomed my first year at Oklahoma and then I got married and He went off to Iowa. We had a marvelous youth together both benefiting from the relationship.

I am so sorry to learn of Dick's death. He was a family friend; I remember him well from my days in Redding. My mother owned many of his works, which we still display, and love. We were fortunate to have such a good, creative man in our midst.
