Not sure what to say?

First, let me say thank you to Rich's family for allowing us to share so many precious moments with Rich. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

As I sat down to put on paper the thoughts that would represent what Rich has meant to the Eclipse soccer team, “Where do you start?” was all that I could think. How do you express the admiration felt by the many people Rich touched during the years of leadership he gave this team?

So, let’s look at the fact that he took on one of the...

No greater love is there than to have love a person as great as Rich who have lived every moment as if it was is last with no complaints but JOY. GOD'S army is always in needs of good soldiers let's rejoice in the new addition and cling to the memories until we are called.

Gloria and family my deepest condolences for your loss of Rich. Rich and I worked, traveled and go way back to the good old Danray year's (early 1980's). I was a junior programmer, debugging in the War Room when I first met Rich. I remember my first impression, and I'll never forget. It was when I saw Rich and Thayne in the switch room, but there was something special and different about these two. They were juggling balls, playing hacky sack, bouncing balls on the floor and wall, they were...

I’ve been associated with the Eclipse soccer team for about 15 years, first as a player, then as a sideline fan. I still remember my first practice…we were called the Lady Chaparrals and it was also the first practice for Glo, Deanna, Maylene, Madeline, and Donna, along with Fay who was already on the team. The core of the team was thus formed and it still exists today, primarily due to Glo and Rich’s devotion to the team.

Rich was almost always at the games watching Gloria and the...

I first met Rich in 1997, when I came to visit on Thanksgiving weekend. We were busy with the Turkey Trot and sightseeing, but fortunately Rich and I were able to talk briefly one evening when Gloria was elsewhere in the house. What impressed me most was the love and pride that showed when he talked about his children, and how very happy he was to have Gloria in is life. The love and happiness I saw between them was so special, and I am thankful they shared some of that happiness with me. ...

Rich and I work together for many years at Northern Telecom. We traveled together with work for a group called EOPS. We always had such a wonderful time. I remember one time out of town in Florida Rich had one goal and that was for the bartendar to know his name. That was so funny. I also remember on that trip Gloria sent a care package. It was oreo cookies which Rich ate with beer, not milk. Rich was such a GOOD friend and person. Thanks for sharing him with all of us.

Gloria and family, I would like to express my deepest condolences for the loss of Rich. Knowing Rich for almost 20 years has been a priviledge. We worked together, travelled together and the most fun of all, we ate lunch together. Rich shared many of his personal joys of his family with me during these occasions. He always had a story to tell and some words of wisdom. I will truely miss my friend Rich.

I regret I didn't know Rich better. I will always remember him wielding a spatula at the July 4th cookouts. He was so much fun, and just a really nice guy. Those are so rare. Gloria, you were so lucky to have met him, and he, of course, was also very lucky to have you. You can be happy about the time and love you had together, and I know you'll always value that.
