Pastor Hudson was my first pastor at Athens First Church of the Nazarene. I came to Christ from a Jewish background. I was then invited to the church and I was very impressed! Pastor Hudson was a kind, caring man and a formidable preacher. I especially remember his sermon on Samson, and his Thanksgiving message Thank God for God. And he was a terrific singer! I loved hearing him sing Lamb of God by Twila Paris. God called me to pastoral ministry while under Pastor Hudsons ministry. I think he...

We remember what a great singing voice Richard had and were privaliged to hear him sing solos and with a quartet or trio at the Johnstown Nazarene Church in Ohio.

I knew Richard when he was just 35 years old in Athens, Ohio. He was a great pastor.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Rev. Rich Hudson meant a lot to me and my family. And Mrs. Peggy, too. When I was in need, they were there for me and my family. He came over to pray for me. With me. He made church fun. He had a personable demeanor. My sister and my brothers all learned a lot from him over the years. His home was warm. His family was warm. Church was never the same after he left. Thank you. May he rest in peace. (HIGHLAND PARK CHURCH OF THE NAZARENE)
