Richard Alan Hudson

Dear Hudson Family, I am sorry to hear of Richie's passing. As a young boy growing up in Pine View Acres, the Hudson family was great to me. Richie gave me my first ever hockey equipment. Mr. Hudson and Richie took me to every East Haven Rebels game and every New Haven Blades game. I played and coached hockey for many years and even as I step on the ice today, I think of those wonderful years and how important Richie and his father were to me and my love for the game of hockey.

I remember Richie very well.. we went to our junior prom together.. I used to go watch him play hockey with the East Haven Rebels.. & going to see the New Haven Blades... ran into him a couple of years ago at Big Y.. he still had the same smile . RIP Richie

I dreamt of Richie last night and decided to look him up on the
Internet and was shocked to read of his passing. W e had great
fun working together at 3 Penny Pub and partying in NYC, and
of course an unforgettable cross country road trip in 1975. you were
always in my thoughts Rich. Sorry I'm late saying it.

I have had some of my best memories with richie and patty.one day richie patty and myself were riding the horses in the quarry and my horse stepped on a bee hive. she reared up on her back legs as I held on for dear life because there were cliffs on both sides of the trail.richie saved my life by riding his horse ebony underneath myself and sandy .since sandy would fallow ebony anywhere we all rode to a safe place swatted the bees off the horses then off ourselves.he then fed me a bottle for...

Rich was a great teammate and even better guy. We played together 50 years ago on the East Haven Rebels. RIP Easties Forever.

I am so so sorry to hear about Richies passing. I had the pleasure of meeting him on a few occasions, and boy did he make me laugh..
Its tough losing a sibling.. Nothing I can possible say will ease your pain.. But I believe our love ones are enjoying themselves, and without any pain.
