Not sure what to say?

Scott, Joe, Tom Terri, Kim and Beth,
I remember growing up on Orchard View, playing Little baseball and White Birch Lodge. Your parents were always there. What Ii remember most though is the day he caught my brother spitting in the school and he made him fill a paper cup full of spit. He was fair and funny. He will be missed.

Most Sorry that Jan and I were traveling. Dick will always be present in my mind, especially when I remember my old ice route, My Grandmothers house, Collin and Parkers where I interned and the Corner of Congress.
Our Libbey High Class reunions will miss a solid worker. But, memories live on longer than the body. Farewell-Dick til we dance again. Ralph Heuerman

Sorry to hear about Mr. Huffman's passing. I was a student at Wayne Trail during the 70's and have fond memories of him.

Terri & Kim,
Sorry to hear about your dad. What a great dad! I would love to see you however I am out of town this week. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I worked with Dick as a couselor for the YMCA Club Adventure program. What a great time we all had! The memories from those years remain strong and always bring a smile. Dick had such positive influences on so many people over the years. A great tribute to a great man!

I was a student at Wayne Trail Elementary in the 70's and can remember riding my bike past his house. It was orange. Funny how things like that from youth stick with you. - Tracey (Spross) Keaton - Toledo, OH.

My condolences goes out to the Huffman family. Mr.Huffman was one of my teachers at Glendale school.

Dick was a good friend and a valued colleague as we served together on Maumee City Council. Our condolences to the Huffman family, Dick's life was one of service to the entire community and to his family. We will remember him fondly.

Dick and Mary Lou were both dear friends of our family. As my school principal, he was a postive influence in my formative years. Joe, Scott, Terri, Kim, Tom and Beth you should be very proud of all that your Dad accomplished in his life. He will be missed.
