Not sure what to say?

He was a very exploratory and open-minded man. I wish I had gotten the chance to have a conversation with him about Deleuze and Guattari... I don´t think anyone else would have the same take. Now all I´m left with is the feeling that he´d appreciate them, somehow... however, all I can have is the intuition, now... Rest in peace.

Richard, I kept calling and you did not answer, now I know it´s because you my friend and my mentor was summoned to a higher calling from our Lord and Savior above. Rest in Peace my friend. I will miss our talks and will always be grateful to you for serving as one of my PhD. Dissertation Committee Members at FAMu and for supporting me during my Summer 2008 Defense. You are missed. My condolences to your family, Always in my heart and never to be forgotten.

The mere mention of Richard's name always brings a smile to my face—and today also some tears. Richard's friendship and support over the many years I knew him is a bright and beautiful blessing in my life, and will continue to be the rest of my days. Elaine, I am very sorry for your loss.

We knew Dr. Richard Hull as the wonderful husband of our dear colleague, Dr. Elaine Hull. We mourn Richard’s passing with Elaine, but we also celebrate Richard’s remarkable life and the love that Richard and Elaine shared together for 61 years. The attached photo shows Elaine and Richard at FSU Psychology’s 2017 Holiday Party.

Richard was greatly admired, and always a pleasure. Intelligent, thoughtful, and an exemplar of a person. He will be missed. Our condolences to Elaine for the loss of her beloved. From Christine and Dennis Reilly.

Uncle you were the best mentor and second Dad I could have hoped for. I love you with all my heart. You lived a life full of generosity and PURPOSE and helped many students attain their goals and dreams. You have left behind a legacy and will not be forgotten, as you are a part of the life scripts of many, many people. May you rest in peace. Your life was grande.
