Rich was predeceased in death by his beloved mother and father, Ann (Whittaker) and Kirby Hunt. He leaves behind his daughter Kristy (Cogar) Fitzgerald of Fort Wayne Indiana, two step daughters, Karrie (Morgan) Burkhard of Corona California and Christina Morgan of Fort Wayne Indiana, three grandchildren and nine step grandchildren. He is also Survived by his siblings, Betty Hunt of Ohio, Charlie Hunt of Valparaiso Indiana, Margaret Hunt of McComb Ohio, Shirley (Hunt) Wobler of New Haven Indiana, Tom Hunt of Valparaiso Indiana and Dan Hunt of Lexington Kentucky. Dad, your guiding hand on my shoulder will remain with me forever. I will search for the rest of my life for moments full of you. What I would give to hear your voice say… " it's you and me kid" or to sit with you as i often did, talking about life or watching those old westerns. Looking at you I realized who I was and where I came from. I cherish the time we had, for I never knew heartache until I looked at your empty barber chair. Kristy "" If you are not willing to learn, no one can help you. If you are determined to learn, no one can stop you". Richard Hunt 1952-2019

RIH Over the years since the 90's you became not only my mechanic, but a friend. I just found out you were gone. My condolences to the family. You will be missed.

So sorry for your families loss Richard. I pray that I will see you again in Heaven. Your life continued on in your daughters, I can see. I'm sorry I didn't get to say goodbye. RIP Friend.

About twenty years ago I stopped in at the shop to get one of my cars fixed. Since then I always felt I had a good friend I could rely on when I had car problems because that he was. I never got out to fish in the 'over-stocked' pond but still hope to get there. It's Really too bad but I don't think there is e-mail in Heaven and I will miss your messages. My sincere condolences to family and friends. Richard, Rest in Peace.

A man of many talents. Rich was a carburetor genius and the best mechanic I had the pleasure to know.
Rest easy Rich, May we see each other again

Best damn wrench I've ever known. Not bad for a brother in-law either. I'll so miss the evenings sitting in his garages solving the worlds problems. Enjoy your new digs buddy. See ya on the other side.

Rich man your gone!
