Richard Hutson

I think about my great friend, Dick, a lot. Especially this week when the Annual Report from Scott Lake arrived in the mail. Spending hundreds of hours fishing in the boat with Dick--and sharing food, wine and stories before and after the fishing are clearly some of the most enjoyable times of my life--and I thank Dick for inviting me to Scott so many years ago and I thank him for all the wonderful times we had together!!! So sorry to hear of Dick´s passing. I always looked forward our get togethers plus emails and phone visits. I will miss him. Sandra, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I had the pleasure of fishing with Dick over the last 10 years. We first met during one of his annual trips to Scott Lake in Canada. Over that time he became a good friend in addition to being a great fishing partner. Dick was a kind soul who was always willing to help those around him. He will be missed after a long and successful life. May he rest in peace now.

Dick lives on in the successful lives of the many alumni of the Hutson-Wood Charm School. John Balkcom
