Not sure what to say?

Would have responded sooner, but just read this sad news. I knew Dr. Richard Jackson when we were assigned together at Naval Hospital, Beaufort, SC. Have many fond memories of him and his wife, Sharon. My condolences to Richard's family, Sharon and Greg.

He was my eye Dr since 1980. He was a kind man and took care of my children, mother in law, my whole family for years. I trusted him. My grand daughter even trusted him, and that was very hard for her to do she is young, and does like any doctors. She seriously liked him he made her fell comfortable, and he was not pushy with her when she did not want to wear one contact, because of her eye condition. He is missed and I'm very sorry I just found out, my prayers to his family. He was a good...

Dr. Jackson was my wife's optometrist for some time and she had nothing but good things to say about him. She convinced me to have an eye examination and in visiting him only once, I could see what a kind, patient, and thorough doctor he was. We're sorry to hear of his passing and send our prayers to his family. Gary & Vanessa Cosby

I just learned of Dr. Jackson's passing. My husband, daughter and I were his patients for 20 years. I always enjoyed chatting with him, especially since my dad was an optometrist. I've thought of him often and wondered how he was doing. Our condolences to his family. He is missed by all his patients I am sure.

I was glad we got back in touch in recent years after our days growing up in elementary and high school in Hamilton. You made a good life for yourself and your family and what impressed me the most was the care you gave Sharon. You will be missed, my friend. Rest In Peace.

Dr. Jackson was my eye Dr. for about 10 years and I absolutely loved him. He had the best personality and just very down to earth and good at what he did. He will be dearly missed

My condolences to Richard's family. Richard was my scuba diving partner.

Very sad news. He was a great optometrist! I always enjoyed my visits above and beyond the eye care. He will be truly missed.
