Not sure what to say?

Dear Marilyn and family,
on behalf of the Boymer family- we are deeply saddened by your loss.
Your dad touched the lives of many.
He will live on in the hearts of more than one can imagine.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this most difficult time.
May your dad find eternal peace.
The Boymers

Dear Jeff, Nancy, Marilyn, and families: On behalf of the Anderson family Dean and I want to extend our sincere sympathies for your loss. We know that it is just plain hard to lose your dad. He will always be a part of my happy memories of growing up next door to all of you. Please know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers.

Thank you Mr. Jacobs for making Clevelanders believe that we are not "small town" and that we can dream big.

To the Jacobs family . . . you have our deepest and sincerest sympathy. Know that the legacy of Mr. Jacobs kindness, compassion and pride in his community will keep his memory alive for generations to come. God bless you all and make this burden easier to carry.

The Seal Family

Mr. Jacob's savy business sense helped to revive the spirit of the true Cleveland Indians Fans. We always stand by our beloved team, but in the 90s--boy! Did we have it good! Many thanks for Mr. Jacob's insight. I'm not sure if the team will do this, but several of us Akron fans will wear REJ on the sleeves of our tribe clothes in honor of a very nice man.
May God Bless Mr. Jacob's family as He welcomes the soul of a great man into heaven.

Thanks for the great memories Dick! You and your brother David saved Indians baseball in Cleveland and turned the club around.

If anyone deserves a statue in front of what should always be called Jacobs Field, it is you and your brother David!

May God comfort your family in this time!

Heres to the man that let us enjoy baseball again for six years. R.I.P.

Our thoughts and sympathy are with the family and loving friends of Dick Jacobs.

Until we moved to Mexico last year, we lived in the same condominium on the floor directly below Mr. Jacobs for over 10 years. We would frequently chat with him on the elevator or in the parking garage. Even as his health declined over the years, he was always gracious and friendly.

We are honored to have known him, even in such a small way. He did so much to help instill pride in the city...
