Richard had a deep and positive impact on my life and it is difficult to accept that he is now gone. He was a good and loyal friend for many years when we were boys and teenagers. My deepest condolences to the Jaus family. I first met Richard in elementary school, and I have very fond memories of him. He was an especially kind, funny, and thoughtful person. I won't forget him.
