Mrs Jett and Family
We are so sorry to hear of Richrd's passing. There are very few people who open their hearts to others the way he did. Wherever he was everyone was welcome. It was tuly an honor and privledge to know him.

Mrs. Jett,
I just learned of Richard's death.I wanted to let you know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.I've been on his tours many times. When I think of the Grand Old Opry, I think of Jett Tours.Everything was always so well organized. I always enjoyed the trips, playing trivia and hearing his jokes. My family and I are deeply saddened by his death.

JEANNIE MY HEART GOES OUT TO YOU RICHARD WAS A VERY GOOD FRIEND TO ME HE HELPED ME IN EVERY WAY. HE WILL BE SADLY MISSED.

we are so sorry for the loss. it is very sad for the loss of any soul here on earth.

Mrs. Jett, Our family was so sorry to hear of the loss of such a good friend. We met Richard several years ago when our son, Wayne sung with his Appalchian Troubadors. A good time was certainly had by all as we would follow them all around the state singing~we appreciated the clean, family fun that he always inforced at the bridge. The trips on his tours were always so much fun......we are indeed blessed to have known such a nice person as Richard Jett, and look forward to being with him...

Richar was a good man and it is a sad time to hear about his passing. he brought happy spirits to those who spent time with him and left happy memmories. my prayers and thoughts will be with you may God bless the family in the time of this loss.

May God be with Richard's family and friends in this time of need.

Jean...my thoughts and prayers are
with you in this time of sorrow. You won't remember me, however I
have spent many Fridays and Sat. at
Hoedown Island; starting with my
Mom and Dad, Myrtle and Harold Bowlin of Lexington. They were there on Labor Day Weekend from the
start, as well as many other weekends (still have their badges as
they got one each year). During the
last year of Dad's life (he left us
in Aug, 1983) when he was
at the Island he had his...
