I worked under Dick's management in the Health & Safety Department at Norton Co. for many years. He was a wonderful, caring person and very knowledgeable in his field. I am sorry I will not be able to attend his
memorial service in Holden because I will be in VT to attend our granddaughter's graduation festivities from UVM. Peace be to his soul.

I consider myself fortunate to have known Richard (Dick) for 40 plus years. As a friend of his sons, he went out of his way to always make me feel welcome and a part of his family. His home was a place the boys could all hang out at, grab some food, play baseball, do just about anything we wanted. He seldom got mad at us, even when he should have. He let his boys grow up on their own paths, always there to help or mentor, but gave them enough room to develop their individuality. You...
