I met Dick when I was a neighborhood teen and he hired me to paint his house. He hired me again when I was US Army discharged. He was consistently supportive of me with his contacts and with references as I got my life underway.
I always thought of Dick as a class act. I am certain that he helped many others along the way as he did for me, and am sorry to hear of his passing.

Truly a great man. Lover of the outdoors,and all it's creatures. Was introduced to Dick by my father in 1970. I still hunt the Croton area and think of Dad and Dick everytime I arrive there. RIP.
