Not sure what to say?

We have so many good memories growing up next door to Rich and Eileen. Will never forget all the 'whiffle ball' games in their back yard over 40 years ago. You will be missed Rich. Our prayers go out to the family.

Lesley Maish and family

Rich was one of my professors at Oregon State and my preceptor in the summer of '72 at the KP Research Center. He taught me more than just pharmacy administration, lessons that served me well throughout my career.

Rich was a friend, colleague and mentor without whom my life would have been very different, and vastly less fulfilling. His generosity and integrity will serve as beacons long after his passing.

A supportive person in so many ways..Always exhibited a positive feeling and warmth among friends, family and peers..I will always remember his smile and support..His memory will live forever. Rest in peace my friend.

It was so wonderful getting to know Rich and Eileen here at The Club. He would chat with me while he was waiting for Eileen to finish up her workout, they were so cute coming in to workout together and socializing with the morning crew. He will be missed as a fixture at the gym and as a patient, kind, wonderful man.

Rich was a mentor and colleague of great import during my years as a pharmacist and pharmacy manager at Kaiser Permanente. I will always remember coming into his office, sitting down and having a chuckle. He made a BIG difference in my life and I will be forever grateful.

Rich Johnson was a remarkable gentleman. It was my pleasure to get to know him and his great wife, Eileen, over the last several years. We used to share stories of our common background as natives of western Pennsylvania. He possessed a keen sense of humor; was a great story-teller; and had deep intelligence.

He will be missed by all who knew him and will be an inspiration for how one leads a good life.
