Unfortunately, I lost touch with Rick over the years, but reading the obituary and hearing and seeing the words about Rick, it´s just like I remember him - a class act and a caring person. My condolences and prayers to his family.

Just returned home to hear this sad news. Rick was such a good friend of mine during and since college. Our kids have played ball together and we have enjoyed so many games together proudly watching our boys play. He was such a kind person and will be greatly missed. Susan, Colt and I are so sorry for your loss. Rick was such a good guy.
If a Duke sport was on TV and doing well, Rick would text me, and we would analyze the game action like a couple of want to be sports casters.
