Not sure what to say?

Mr. Kahlich was both a friend and a mentor to me. He gave me my first job in the world of education at the Adult Ed Center when I was a senior at Columbia High. Going there at the end of each day was like going to a safe haven where I knew I would be guided and encouraged to live up to my fullest potential. Susan, the secretary and Mr. Kahlich truly cared and helped me as I entered the real adult world. I also had the great fortune of being really super friends with Leesa my senior year...

I will miss hanging out by grill, among other things,
with Uncle Didder. I am only comforted by knowing

until we meet again. R.E.

My Dad (Dr. Jim Yopp) and Mr. Kahlich had many good times working together. He was often the subject of the day's anecdotes around the dinner table growing up. After Daddy got sick, I ran into him and was happy to hear many of his stories of the good times he had with my dad....stories that I will forever cherish and that my family loves to hear. May you rest in peace in the arms of Jesus, Mr. Kahlich. ?

We know there is meaning in the end of our earthly presence but we also are promised in the "Great Book" that there are...

Family,

I was saddened to learn of the passing of Richard.

Richard, Marcus and Si took me in as a new teacher at Waters Store in the early seventies and helped make me a better teacher.

Richard was Mr. Work Experience in Columbia County and the State of Florida at that time.

Thinking of you,

Dyess Couey

You will always live in our hearts and prayers.

Mr. kahlich was also one of my favorite teachers.A very great man.
