Not sure what to say?

I had the pleasure of meeting Richard at his home on Bainbridge Island, WA... I was called out to service his little riding tractor... Richard liked to joke... I knew one of his yard care takers and he told me to ask about "the car"... So at the first opportunity I explained to Richard that I was told to ask about "the car" as we were talking while doing his mower battery... He answered and said "when your done we'll head out to the garage"... We go out there and he starts going on about how...

I had the pleasure of working with Richard for many years in Pioneer Broadcasting. He was a good friend to many. My sympathies to the family.

My deepest sympathies to Kathy, Laura, Rachel, Trevor and their families. I am a fellow University of Oregon classmate of Laura and Rachel and remember fondly the times I met their father and the visit to his home on Bainbridge Island. You are blessed to have a father that loved you all so much!

Dear classmate from 1948 to 1951.
Wonderful man and all around nice guy. Became re-aquainted in 1993 at the Kearny H.S.Picnics, and reunions. I will miss him.

I attended Kearny Junior/Senior High School with Dick in the 1940's. He was an admirable person even then. He was probably the most careful dresser in our class of '51 and his manners were always pleasant and respectful.

I'm sorry to read of his passing.

So sorry to hear about Richard's passing. He was a gentleman and a great boss. I am sure he's fishing somewhere right now.
