Read MoreTo the Kaplan Family, Rich and I were room mates at Bowling Green back in the early 1970's. I had the pleasure of backpacking Europe with him in the summer of 1972. We had many laughs and good times together and over the years I would touch base with him to get caught upon what was new. Today I just found out of his passing. I bought a lot of my furniture from Richard at his store. He was always so nice to work with and seemed to always know what we wanted. Bless him and his family. He will sure be missed.

To the Kaplan Family,
You do not know me but I feel like I know you. My husband and I bought our first kitchen table from Kaplan Furniture in 1967. From what I have read Rich was a kind, generous person, a loving husband, father, neighbor, and someone I am sorry I never got the chance to know. I have no words that can take away the pain.
