Richard S. Kaserman, 83, a longtime resident of Massillon, Ohio, a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II and a U.S. Air Force Reserves veteran, owner and operator of Kaserman Moving & Storage before his retirement in 1973, died at Meadowwind Health Center on Monday, October 1, 2001, following an extended illness. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, October 4, 2001, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., at Heitger Funeral Services Massillon Chapel, 639 First Street Northeast, Massillon. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, October 5, 10 a.m., at the funeral home. Entombment will be at Sunset Hills Mausoleum, Canton, Ohio. Arrangements entrusted to Heitger Funeral Services Massillon Chapel, Massillon, Ohio.

I have many fond memories of both Dorothy and Dick - from the moving company, the pancake house, railroad car ice cream parlor, the hotel, their black cadi to the old red truck - they always seemed to laugh together thru all their life's adventures. I will remember their smiles.
