Idaho Dick (or Oncle Richard to me) became friends with my father in DC many, many years ago and they remained in touch over the years, despite where they lived or what they were doing. I have some very fond memories of visiting with Dick in Paris several times. He taught me to appreciate a fine Bourgogne wine! My thoughts and prayers are with Dick's family and friends at this difficult time.

Came to know Dick over the past few years working to create business contacts. He was an engaging conversationalist, and wonderful man to spend a breakfast with, especially when he was cooking.
Met in Palm Beach at the Breakers after a year of conversations, talking wine, food & friends.
Lovely man.
