Lots of memories. Dick & Fred Snow hired me for the drama job after a few years of drama student rebellion against the former teacher. What was I getting myself into?!
It all turned out wonderfully.
Dick was supportive of the program and me, although I’m not to sure how many musicals Dick saw. I think he snuck out first chance he got which was not hard since we had a full house for every show in that tiny cafetorium.

He was the kindest and most compassionate person in my life during school.

Mr. Kast, a truly genuine and kind man. Best Principal and mentor any high school kid in the 80's could've asked for. I remember at graduation, handing him the piece of paper for him to read out loud my name. I had written "Alfred E. Newman", as he got part of the name out, he smiled, laughed, and then said my real name, shook my hand, hugged me, and congratulated me.
