I worked at V&E in the late 60's and early 70's and remember well, Mr. Keeton's energy and humor... He ran everywhere... The world will miss his smile and big heart...our Loss is Heaven's Gain... My sincerest condolences to his wife and family... These are difficult days and I wish you All the Best...

I worked for Mr. Keeton at Mayor, Day, Caldwell & Keeton. He was always delightful to work for, kind and fair. A very special man. He will be missed. I'm very sorry for your loss. Pat Tilghman

My deepest condolences. I started my career at Vinson Elkins, and Richard was one of the finest litigators I have ever known. As a fellow parishioner at Christ Church Cathedral, I will miss seeing him there. A wonderful man and lawyer.
