KELLER, Richard L. - Of Flint, age 66, died Monday, September 3, 2007 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. Funeral service will be held 11:30AM Friday, September 7, 2007 at More Life Tabernacle, 6430 Lennon Road, Swartz Creek, Pastor Keith McKinnies officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the family. Visitation 5-8PM Wednesday and 11AM-8PM Thursday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. Mr. Keller will be at the church from 11AM Friday until the time of the service. Richard was born in Flint, Michigan on June 17, 1941, the son of the late Floyd and Merlene (Maples) Keller. On February 13, 1960 he married Shelia Wilson in Flint. Richard retired from General Motors Chevrolet V-8 Plant and was a member of UAW Local #659, member of Calvary Apostolic Tabernacle. He enjoyed preaching, listening and recording tapes. Richard loved spending time with his dog, Paco. Surviving are wife, Shelia; children, Shelia and husband Ken Parks of Wichita, KS, Doug and wife Terri of Grand Blanc, Jill and husband Tracy Callis of Hillsdale, MI; 11 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; brother, Floyd and wife Pam of Pinconning, MI; sister, Rosalie and husband Robert Thayer of Birch Run; many nieces and nephews. I am so sorry to hear about Richard and I'm sorry I'm late entering this, but I just found out in the Union paper. I worked with Richard in the head dept. at the V8 plant and he was truely a great man and I know he will be missed by all.

Jill and Family, may you find strength in the Lord. Your Dad/Grandpa touched so many lives. Shelia remember this is not the end.
