Not sure what to say?

My twin and I were born 5 weeks premature in the middle of a blizzard in March of 1960. It was touch and go for both of us and mom. Doc brought us through. Never knew about his USAAF other than some vague story about him doing a loop around the Golden Gate Bridge. He was one of a kind...

How sad. Upon moving to Richland back in 1980, Dr. Kik was our first doctor. We'd see him often around town; and our kids remember the school physicals. Dr. Kik was truly the last of a breed of physician who practiced "investigate" instead of "medicate". Richland has lost a true friend.

Soft spoken, silly grin, and the perfect flat-top haircut! After he retired, my new doctor told me that"Dr.Kik is my hero". I knew then I had found a suitable replacemrnt for my medical needs.
He probably made hundreds of thousands of dollars in a year's time, yet he always lived in the simple but beautiful home and carried himself like a true gentleman. We all can learn from such a wonderful, kind man. A doctor's doctor!

The last of the "black bag" era doctor has gone on to be with God. We still remember his "dx" of Erick's "Corn Dust" allergy that almost put the poor kid in the Hospital. Our prayers to everyone in the Kik-clans and to the community of Richland!

Gordon constantly wishes he was in Michigan so he could see Dr. Kik. He isn't too fond of the Florida doctors. I will miss Dr. Kik's silly jokes and his wonderful fellowship at Richland Bible Church. Betty, God Bless You! I remember how he worried about you when you were sick. Pray that you are well now. Our love to you and your family.

We were so sorry to hear about Dr. Kik passing. He was a great man and will be greatly missed. I will always remember how friendly and always smiling. Although he was not our doctor, I heard nothing but good things about Dr. Kik. And we will miss seeing him and the family sitting on the front porch watching the 4th of July parade. The family will be in our thoughts and prayers, especially Mrs. Kik during this difficult time.

To Dick and family:

My thoughts and prayers go to you on the death of your father--the man you and the community revered and who was a monumental example for you. Miss you. I am sorry for your loss. He is a great man.

Robert Houtman

Dr Kik will be missed by many. He is one of the last Osteopathic Doctors of the old school like my dad was. I will remember his "butch" haircut and smile..he was more than a doctor to his patients. My sympathies go out to the family.

I AM VERY SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS.
DR. KIK WAS MY DOCTOR WHEN I WAS
LITTLE. HE WILL BE TRULY MISSED.
MY PRAYERS ARE WITH.
GOD BLESS!
