KINKLE, Richard Fredrick - Of Flint, age 71, died Wednesday, January 29, 2003 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Funeral service will be held at 11AM Saturday, February 1, 2003 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Bob Roberts and Pastor Maurice Anderson officiating. Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Those desiring may make contributions to the Arthritis Foundation, American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association. Visitation 11AM-3PM and 5-8PM Friday at the funeral home. Richard was born in Pontiac, Michigan on September 2, 1931 and was the son of Fredrick and Stella (Cove) Kinkle. He married Mary Jane Brunsden on February 23, 1952 in Flint. Richard owned and operated Kinkle Construction for over 40 years. He loved boating, fishing and hunting. He will be dearly missed by family and friends. Surviving are his wife, Mary; daughters, Phyllis and husband Steve Stroud of Louisiana and Bonnie Hasman of Flint; grandchildren, Holly, Amy, Annalisa Stroud, Jason, Jayna, Krystal Vineyard and Michael Hasman; brothers, Steve and wife Annie Kinkle of Farwell, MI, Frank and wife Margaret Kinkle of Afton, MI; sister, Ruth and husband John Evans of Lansing; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Shelly Kinkle-Merchant and parents.
