Without Dick, I wouldn´t have been hired by Carman. I didn´t know who he was when I casually, in jeans and a CMU sweatshirt, dropped in to the interview room in Mt. pleasant to ask the man sitting there if he had heard anything about my interview with The personnel director in Flint the week before.
