Richard Koch

I met Richard shortly after being hired at ODOT in the late 1970s. Even though I didn't work with him on a daily basis, there were occasions where I was sent to Erie county to work on his crew or pick up equipment. He was always to lend a helping hand. He would not ask someone to do something he would not do. He liked to go to the ODOT Christmas parties held at the Sandusky Mall. He was a stand up guy. I am honored to call him a friend. Gone too soon!

VICKIE-I did not know your brother but it is never easy losing one. I lost my brother Bob in 2006 and he took some of me with him. Please know you will be in my daily prayers because I know of what the days ahead will bring. Sincerely~ Candy Sanders Stein

I worked with Richard at ODOT in Erie County. He was always a standup guy. Great to work with. My sincere condolences to the family. Thoughts and prayers to all. May your memories help ease the pain of your loss.

Had a lot of fun and laughs with Richard in high school. Unfortunately I lost connection with him after graduation. My sympathies are with his family during this difficult time.
